Description
Around the age of 17, Maurice Golubov felt the 3 dimensional, familiar world he observed all around him was not enough. By 19, he was reading transcendental literature that turned him, even more, towards ‘the unseen.’ He would spend the rest of his 82 years on this earth searching for deeper levels of life and painting everything he found along the way. Golubov’s abstract paintings were explorations of human consciousness. Through art, he was determined to find ‘the key’ that would allow the artist to escape the everyday world of things seen; a ‘key’ that would take an intimate peek behind the curtain of reality.
This Original Abstraction, ‘Untitled’ 1981 is based on the fourth dimensional artistic concept that captivated Golubov throughout his life.
